Instructions

New Game

A deck with 27 cards is created and shuffled.

You will receive 3 cards, the opponent will receive 3 cards as well.

The first person to achieve 12 points is the winner.

Match

A game can have at least 22 matches.

A match can have 3 rounds, hence, every match is a best of 3. The winner of a match is the person who wins 2 rounds.

Each match is worth 1 point.

Round

Your cards will be displayed at the bottom of the page, chose which card you want to play and click on it.

Your opponent will make his move and play a card as well.

The owner of the strongest card is the winner of the round.

If a draw happens, both players win a point.

Truco

The red button labeled "Truco" increases the amount of points worth in the match.

You can click on it at anytime.

    Truco decision tree:
  • Accept: You are now playing a 3 points match.
  • Run away: The match ends and the person who called "Truco" wins 1 point.
  • Raise: The match become a 6 points match.

Card Hierarchy

Card Hierarchy Description
Zap 1 The Strongest card in the game, also called Zap. This card is unique.
SevenHeart 2 Seven of Hearts. This card is unique.
AceOfSpades 3 Ace of Spades, also called Espadilha (it's pronounced espadilia) Disclaimer: All four ace suits are present in the deck!
SevenDiamond 4 Seven of Diamonds, also called Golden Seven. This card is unique.
Three 5 Every three has the same hierarchy.
Two 6 Every two has the same hierarchy.
Ace 7 Ace of the following suits has the same hierarchy: Diamond, Club and Heart. Remember, the Ace of Spades is a strong card.
King 8 Every king has the same hierarchy.
Jack 9 Every Jack has the same hierarchy.
Queen 10 Every Queen has the same hierarchy. Weakest card in the game.
